Becky Kaufman is a partner with King & Spalding’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Her practice includes U.S. and international patent prosecution, client counseling and transactional due diligence in the life sciences area. Ms. Kaufman represents life sciences companies, both private and public, investors and research organizations.
Ms. Kaufman received a B.S. degree in Biology, with honors, from Wake Forest University in 1991. She received her J.D.degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1994. After graduating from law school, she spent more than two years working on a Ph.D. in molecular biology, first at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and later, at theGeorge Washington University School of Medicine.
