University of Florida Libraries

Resident companies have onsite, 24/7 electronic access to University of Florida libraries. This is an exceptionally valuable benefit of participating in our Incubator Program. With this comes access to, among other things, a wide array of scientific journals and services such as Lexis Nexis, PubMed, and Web of Science, as well databases and business related books and journals.

External companies, that have a paid, contractual Member (Graduate, Associate, or Affiliate) relationship with the Incubator, may access UF library resources onsite at the Incubator during business hours using a guest login with an Incubator computer or a personal laptop that uses our wireless environment. Personal laptops must first be registered on our network.

Associate Member companies, with a large number of employees, will be restricted in the number of employees allowed this privilege. Access will be determined by the Incubator management and in accordance with UF policies.

Incubator Resources

The Incubator maintains a small library of useful books on growing startup companies as well as annual subscriptions to BioWorld Today, the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, the Gainesville Sun newspaper, the Harvard Business Review, Nature, Science, and Nature Biotechnology. Other resources, such as business plan templates and samples of corporate PowerPoint presentations, are archived electronically.
